WORKING SAFELY WITH JOLLY ROGER IMAGES - A COVID-19 UPDATE

During the past few months, our focus has been on helping our community get back on their feet.  We’ve covered the latest updates with CBS News and NBC’s Today Show and have worked hand and hand with the Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce helping them disseminate the latest updates from our Chamber President, Dan Lindblade as well as the Mayor of Ft. Lauderdale, Dean Trantalis and other elected officials from Broward County.

As the Novel COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve and businesses start to reopen, we felt this would be a good time to update you on our procedures to ensure everyone’s safety on set during production.  We keep the production crew to the bare minimum based on our clients needs.  Fewer people on set equals less risk.

When possible, we prefer to shoot outside.  Our crew is required to wear masks properly covering the mouth and nose at all times.  Gloves, anti-viral wipes and sanitizer are also used generously to wipe down all areas we are working in and all equipment being used both before and after the shoot.

All interviews will be conducted from a distance.  In these cases, we use a boom pole and shotgun mic that is sanitized and preset so that the audio technician does not need to approach the subject and the camera is placed a minimum of 10 feet away.

If the environment requires a lavaliere mic, we will provide a sanitized mic and transmitter that the guest can put on themselves unless they require help.  The same goes for IFB’s.

As you are looking to get back to work and open your businesses, please know we are here for you to help you safely get your message out to your customers.

We hope this update finds you in good health and good spirits.  Our greatest concern is our clients safety.  Together, we will get through this.
